TITO'S LAW STARTS WITH YOU. SIGN THE PETITION.

Help us change Florida law to recognize dogs as sentient beings, not property.

Tito was just a puppy. Rescued from horrific conditions where his siblings had already died, he finally got to feel love, warmth, and safety for just 48 hours before we had to let him go.

Tito mattered. His life had value. But under Florida law, he was considered nothing more than property.

His “owner” is not held accountable. The puppies were his “belongings.” It did not matter that Tito lived under a shed surrounded by dead siblings. It did not matter that his stomach was full of trash and fabric instead of food.

That needs to change.

We are launching Tito’s Law, a movement to end Florida’s outdated view of dogs as property. This campaign aims to recognize dogs as sentient beings, rather than objects, in the law. They feel pain, joy, fear, and love. They are family, not furniture.

By signing this petition, you will help us:

  • Show lawmakers that Floridians demand legal change

  • Advocate for legislation that gives dogs the protections they deserve

  • Build a future where animals are treated with dignity and recognized for who they are
